BRIDGE sequence database

The BRIDGE project (Bridging Information on Tree Diversity in French Guiana, and a Test of Ecological Theories) brings together researchers from nine different European research groups in tropical ecology, and seeks to improve our knowledge on the various dimensions of tree biological diversity in French Guiana (specific, functional, evolutionary).

We are collecting leaf tissue from each individual tree above 10 cm in trunk diameter of permanent tree plots, extracting DNA from this tissue, and generating sequences of plant plastid DNA. In this database, all DNA extracts and sequences are documented.

For the time being this database is in its building phase and it is therefore password protected. Please contact Jerome Chave for any query.
