Master of Science Degree in Zoology, Department of Zoology, St. George Campus. Thesis: A Comparative Phylogenetic Analysis of Herbivory as a Key Innovation in Modern Terrestrial Amniotes (346 pages). My thesis analyzed the effect of changes in feeding ecology upon shifts in rates of diversification in modern terrestrial mammals, birds, and reptiles: achievements included development of a novel, robust, computer-implemented, comparative phylogenetic methodology; and the compilation and analysis of a data base of unprecedented size for this kind of study. Thesis advisors: Deborah A. McLennan, Robert R. Reisz, Daniel R. Brooks. Collaborator: Kai Chan.
